ABAS
A downloadable game for Windows
As the pilot of space mech you are on a mission to investigate a dark planet. Your ABAS (Artificial battle assistance system) is by your side every step of the way, to help you navigate and fight. You navigate by sound only, with the help of the sonar mechanic.
This games uses 3d audio for directional sound, using headphones strongly recommended!

- No controller support yet
- Remapping is possible through the input.config, but the voicelines will not change to reflect this (also only a few special characters are supported)
Hotfix version
- There was an issue that made the game initalization failed, which is fixed in the hotfix version (i still left the original version there, if you want to try it, you'll have to change some windows settinsg for that, see install instructions)
- This version is almost identical to the jam version, but i added a change to the victory music (which was done before the hotfix already)

Install instructions
Compatibility: Windows 8 or above
Just unzip and run the abas-game.exe.
For keyboard remapping change the values in res/input.config file. This has currently only limited support for special characters (as stated in the file).
Playing the original jam version
There is an issue with the audio device initialization in the original game jam version. You can still play it, you just have to adjust some windows settings:
1. Open windows sound settings (Settings -> Sound)
2. Scroll down and select Sound Control Panel
3. Select your device (usually called Speakers) -> Properties
4. Tab Advanced -> change format to 44100 Hz & apply
If you play the hotfix version this is no longer necessary!
