Escape Room - The unseen wilderness
A downloadable game for Windows
This game is an audio-only round based puzzle game. You are trapped in a room and have to find the key to get out, using only the provided audio cues.
Movement works in a top-down perspective view manner, there is no turning, only 4 directional grid based movement.
Controls are provided within the game.
About the creation
The project was created for the Hodur Game Jam 2024. All assets including the engine were hand crafted during the jam, with the exception of the voicelines, which where created using elevenlabs as TTS/VTS engine.

Install instructions
Download and unzip the file, run the escape-room.exe
Game supports windows only because of dependencies to windows native apis (namely xaudio2). Supported by Windows 8+
The game runs under Linux using wine (tested with wine 9.0 on ubuntu)
Keybindings:
Keybindings can be changed by adjusting the config/keyboard.conf file, but this will not affect the voicelines in game!
